Knight armor location
I recently got scammed out of 90k, so my efforts to save for that superior absorbtion are now at an end. I bought the 15k glad chest and stuck a major absorb on it. *cries*
Now my question is.. I need a knight's piece, of course.
Which would be better, gauntlets or boots?
I'd obviously want to put it where I get hit less, seeing how it's generally a -10 to my AL. The boots worry me because of worms popping up under me.. and the gauntlets seem more likely to get hit when I'm running by giants, archers, and the like.
What are all your opinions on this? I can't use it on my helm, either.. that slot usually has my Lieutenant's Helm in it.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

If I recall, both hands and feet have the same random chance of being hit. I don't know if this changes based on what your fighting. I always thought spell and non-attack skills targeted chest, projectiles had a higher chance to hit your head based on elevation and all other attacks were just random with odds something like:
Chest 45%
Legs 25%
Head/Hands/Feet 10%
If that's correct, I would go with feet only for the fact that you might want Stonefists at some point.

So I guess it doesn't really matter... You're right, I think it's 8% on head, feet, and arms.. ah well. One thing I'll never try is a hammer warrior, no offense anyone, but it's just not my thing. So gauntlets it is.

I usually went with feet, which allowed for the stonefist guantlet option in the hands position if i ran a hammer build. It also didnt force a + tactics bonus in the helmet position.

I upgraded my warrior's armor from Droks to 15k last night (yes I know there's no difference) and chose 15k glads + ascalon helm. Looks nice (except for the back of the man bra, needs to have cape on at all times) and the +1 tactics is a good bonus on helm too. I used to use a tactics helm anyway so it worked out nice for me.

I can't believe someone told me what helm to use, when I said I already have those set in stone. Learn to read! I picked the helms I did because they work, not because they cost more money than the others, or because they look nice. If you ask me, all helms are ugly, therefore they are always turned off on my warrior.
